DJ fixes, round two

When DJ can't run Buy it for me, the card never shows it. If the price fits now, the primary is Buy now through CrowdVolt checkout and DJ says one line. If it doesn't fit, DJ says plainly it can't buy this one and the card's primary is Alert me at their price. The server decides which, and sends it with the card.

How the server decides. One predicate, can_auto_buy, feeds the card's button choice (shared/dj/lean.py:122). It grows to cover every case above and the card carries a typed cant_buy: {reason, line} beside buy_lean. The app never shows Buy it for me when it's set, and shows the line when the reason was only found at the tap (a draft refused with 403 or 409). Every 409 reason already comes back typed (dj_plan_actions.py:921), so the app maps it to Buy now or Alert me without reading any text. Old apps keep today's behaviour.

The dock goes everywhere in the thread. The plans button in the header and the needs-you row under it are the one home for plans. After an action, the card you acted on changes in place and the plans count ticks up. Nothing appears above the composer and nothing flies anywhere.

Thread content softens as it slides under the header and above the composer, instead of being cut by a hard black edge. Built only from what the current app binary already has, so it ships over the air.

How it's built. The app already has a real progressive blur, components/effects/progressive-blur.tsx: one native view whose blur radius ramps toward the edge (the iOS variable blur filter), with zero JavaScript per frame. Support chat uses it for exactly this, a bar you scroll under. Its native module has been in the binary since #1365, before release 1.0.1, so this is over the air only: no new dependency, same fingerprint. DJ takes support chat's recipe (blur 24, a 44 pt tail under the controls, a dark tint from 0 to 62%) at the top, and the same mirrored above the composer. If the filter is ever unavailable it falls back to the gradient DJ has today. Android gets the gradient.

One earlier call it changes. On Oct 13 you cut the tall frosted band under the header, and the header code says no blur band. This isn't that band: nothing is frosted when the thread sits still under nothing, the blur only shows on content passing under the controls.

Already in round one (fix/dj-chrome-polish, in review). The pills show the price only, and the selected pill's sentence sits under them.

The rule for every action: alert set, changed or stopped, approved, paused, resumed, stopped, changed. From a card, that card changes in place and DJ says one line. From chat with no card on screen, DJ's one line only. No receipt chip, no new card, no Updated N ago, no dock. Running alerts live in the plans sheet as one row with Stop. The one moment that earns a card is an alert firing.

Phones on the old app (OTA e4e60dc1f). They declare no new capability, so the server keeps sending them what they draw today: receipts (their chips stay), the live alert card on the chat path, and the fired item in their dock. They also get the new wording of DJ's line, which is plain text. Nothing they read is renamed or removed, so nothing breaks; they simply keep today's extra pieces until they update. The bubble clipping bug is the arrival lane's, round one.

Today Clear chat exists, but it's the last row of DJ settings: header, DJ's page, Settings, scroll, Clear chat, confirm. Three ways to bring it forward, all keeping the confirm you already have (Your plans and alerts keep running).

Today a tap on a pick posts Tell me about {name} as your message and runs a full model turn, which wrote a bio paragraph before the card. My lean: no fake message from you. The tap is a silent action, the pick lights, and DJ answers with one short line and the show's card. The photo and the name still open the event page.

Two readings. (a) Tapping DJ opens a list of chats with New chat, like ChatGPT. (b) The same DJ page, cleaned: what's running, then the links. I'd do (b) now and keep one thread.

DJ's sentence answers. A card appears only when acting is the natural next step; facts like vibe, doors and age are text only. Only the newest actionable card keeps its buttons. When a newer one lands, older cards fold into the 40 pt row from round one, with art, title, state and a chevron that reopens the card in place. A question about the show on screen doesn't fold its card. One white button on screen at most. Picks and lists are rows with no buttons.

There's no fast checkout today. DJ's Buy now pushes the event page and opens the normal buy sheet on its first step; a prefilled listing only hides the quantity picker. Three ways to make it short.

If the listing DJ would buy needs an account you haven't connected, connecting is a required step in the approval sheet, before Approve. Tap Connect, CrowdVolt's own connect flow opens, you come back connected to the same sheet, then Approve. DJ never buys first and asks you to connect later. If connecting isn't possible, or it's POSH, Buy it for me isn't offered for that listing and item 1's fallback applies.

Wording: checkout says Connect (Connect your AXS account), DJ's sheet says Link DICE for instant delivery, and instant also means instant payouts elsewhere in CrowdVolt. DJ moves to checkout's word: Connect DICE, and drops instant.

What happens today when DJ buys on a platform you haven't connected. DJ buys anyway (the buyer passes no account). The transfer can't find you, gives up for good, and the order switches to manual: the seller is told to send the tickets to your phone within 24 hours. Your push says the seller will transfer to your DICE within 24 hours. The order page shows Pending, once the seller delivers we'll notify you. Nothing asks you to connect, and connecting later doesn't retry the transfer; only ops can. CrowdVolt's own checkout blocks this case: its DICE step needs an account.

POSH works the same, plus POSH sign ins expire, so an account connected at approval can be dead when DJ buys. AXS falls back to your verified email when there's one. Several shows on one sheet: today the delivery row only appears when every show shares one platform, so a two platform sheet shows nothing at all.
